Dummy Ticket Sample PDF — What Embassies Look For

Anatomy of a good dummy ticket PDF, with annotated fields and a checklist you can use to spot a low-quality document.

A consular officer spends about 60 seconds looking at your supporting documents. The dummy ticket is one piece of that file, and its job is to look unremarkable — clean, consistent, and aligned with the rest of your application.

The seven fields that matter

  • Passenger name (in PASSPORT/SURNAME, GIVEN format).
  • Airline name and IATA flight number (e.g. 6E 1407, EK 547, AI 161).
  • Origin airport with IATA code and terminal.
  • Destination airport with IATA code and terminal.
  • Date and time of departure / arrival in local time.
  • Booking reference (6 alphanumeric characters).
  • Issuing supplier's name and contact details.

What a low-quality PDF looks like

Telltale signs include: the same booking reference appearing in multiple Google image results, default Lorem-Ipsum-style passenger names, a flight number that doesn't exist in the airline's published schedule, a departure airport with the wrong terminal, and a font set that screams 'free template'. Each of these on its own is forgivable; together they raise flags.

Our PDF format

Every PDF we issue carries a per-order unique booking reference, a passenger name you control, a flight matched to the airline's real schedule for that day, and a clean two-column itinerary block. The footer explicitly states the document is a reservation for documentation purposes — this matters for honesty and protects you from any accusation of misrepresentation.

See it before you buy

We publish a sample PDF on the Sample Ticket page so you know exactly what to expect. If your visa application needs anything different from our standard format, email us before ordering and we can confirm fit.
